What is LED Light Therapy?
LED or Light Emitting Diode therapy is a popular pain free, non-invasive skin treatment that stimulates your skin’s natural healing process to repair the skin. The treatment uses varying wavelengths of light to trigger this response and is most commonly used in the treatment of acne, sun damage, wounds, ageing, dermatitis and eczema.
What treatment modes are there?

- Acne Repair – Blue 465nm + Red 630nm

Blue Lights (465nm):For the treatment of acne. Blue light works to neutralise and kill any P.acnes bacteria on the surface of the skin that is responsible for acne.
Red Lights (633nm): Red Light is your anti-ageing hero working to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles whilst boosting blood circulation and the stimulation of collagen and elastin. Increasing blood circulation allows this powerhouse light to promote healing and reducing any redness and inflammation.
Near-Infrared Lights (850nm): Penetrating into the deeper layers of the skin, near-infrared light works to stimulate fibroblast activity to strengthen the skin and when combined with blue or red light aids in reducing any inflammation and providing advanced skin rejuvenation.
How do I use it and how often?
- Cleanse your skin
- Place the mask on your face and secure with velcro straps
- Select mode and start 10 minute treatment
- Remove mask and apply serums/moisturiser
- Wipe mask and store in bag
We recommend using 3-5 times per week for 10-minutes at a time for the first 4-6 weeks and ongoing as required. Trudermal Glow LED masks are hands free to allow you to move around whilst wearing - or even better, take the opportunity to rest and relax for 10 minutes.
